Joan's Mediterranean Rub

1 Tbsp coarse sea salt
1/2 Tbsp fresh ground black pepper
1 Tbsp dried oregano
1 Tbsp dried basil
1 tsp granulated garlic
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp ground cumin

Combine ingredients in a small bowl and stir well to mix.

Excellent rubbed on all white meats; apply at least 20 minutes before cooking. Also an excellent addition to panko bread crumbs for coating chicken or fish.
