Baked BBQ Back Ribs

Printer-Friendly version

1 rack pork back ribs
3/4 cup Savory Herbal Rib Rub or dry rub of choice
barbecue sauce of choice

Preheat oven to 250 degrees F. Rub ribs on both sides with dry rub to coat thoroughly.

Place ribs on aluminum foil, on a baking sheet, meat side down. Fold foil around ribs and wrap ends tightly to completely seal ribs in. Bake until cooked through and tender, about 2 hours.

Remove ribs from oven and allow to rest, still sealed in the aluminum foil, for 15 minutes. Turn oven up to 350 degrees F and allow to preheat.

Open foil and pour off the accumulated juices. Brush rack generously with barbecue sauce on both sides. Bake uncovered, meat side up, for 10 minutes. Brush meat side generously with another coat of barbecue sauce and bake for another 10 minutes.
