Pizza Sauce

Printer-Friendly version

2 15 oz cans tomato sauce, or 1 quart home-made
2 Tbsp yellow mustard
1 Tbsp minced garlic
3 Tbsp Italian seasoning
2 Tbsp cayenne hot sauce
1/2 Tbsp Old Bay seasoning
1 tsp chicken bullion
sugar to taste
2-3 drops Dave's Insanity Sauce (or to taste)

Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Simmer 30 minutes uncovered over medium-low heat. Moderate acidity with sugar to taste while simmering.

Remove from heat, and let sit covered until cool. Best if allowed to age for a few days in the refrigerator before use.

Makes enough for four 14" pizzas.
