Medium White Sauce

2 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
dash pepper
1 cup milk

In a small saucepan, melt better. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper. Stir and cook briefly over medium heat. Add milk, stir to mix thoroughly. Cook over medium heat until thickened and bubbly, then cook 1-2 minutes more.
