2 cups water 3.75 cups sugar 2 tsp vanilla extract 1/2 cup warm water 6 tbsp instant coffee 1 fifth 100 proof vodka Bring 2 cups water, sugar, and vanilla just to a boil, then remove from heat. In a separate bowl, mix 1/2 cup warm water and coffee; stir well to dissolve. Put all of these together in a half-gallon pitcher, and let stand until cool. Add vodka and mix; let stand uncovered for 48 - 72 hours to reduce vodka bite. Yield: approx one half gallon This recipe was added: 18 November 2003 |
