Homestead Pina Colada Mix

Forget that store-bought mix; this is the real deal! Try it once, and you'll never use anything else.

1 x 15 oz can Coco Lopez Real Cream of Coconut (do not use a cheaper brand)
3 x 6 oz cans Dole Pineapple Juice (do not use a cheaper brand)

Combine Coco Lopez and pineapple juice in a two-quart pitcher and stir thoroughly to combine. This makes enough mix for four frozen Pina Coladas (recipe below), and can be stored in the refrigerator for several days (although we doubt that it will stay around that long). As it has a tendancy to separate, mix thoroughly before using.

Homestead Pina Colada

Fill a 12 to 14 ounce glass with ice. Add a shot of Myers's Original Dark Rum (or other dark rum of your choice) and fill the glass the rest of the way with Homestead Pina Colada Mix. Pour glass contents (ice and all) into a blender and liquefy. Pour back into glass and garnish with a maraschino cherry (and whipped cream, if desired).
